Skylink Family & School Network is a North Carolina based company that has been working to help improve the school systems of North Carolina for 15 years. It is owned and operated by a former North Carolina educator and employs many other North Carolina educators to gain a well-informed perspective on what today’s educators need to improve the learning process in our schools.

The Skylink Learning Theater offers many advantages to schools and school systems it serves in North Carolina. Each school in the Learning Theater Network has its own receiver. This allows the materials received to function at full speed without draining the bandwidth from the school’s network regardless of how many users are on the system. Teachers have access to classroom subject material on demand in any classroom, at any school location, at any time. Staff development can be transmitted live, or on demand at a more convenient time allowing teachers and administrators to keep their instructional day in tact. Students can also interact in real time by phone or internet with some programs on the Learning Theater. And finally, the Central Office will have the ability communicate with their entire network of educators and with other educators across the state, nation, and world in real time.

Skylink Learning Theater uses the latest technology to deliver educational materials into your schools. Through the use of top educational media programs, Skylink brings high-quality educational components into every classroom on-demand. The implementation of the Skylink Learning Theater will incorporate state-of-the-art satellite and Super FX digital data receivers with approved supplemental educational materials that support the core curriculum. Our select programming engages, enlightens, and motivates your students to greater heights!

Skylink Learning Theater isn’t just for your students! This program is specifically designed to save educators time, energy, and money while providing them with unlimited quality resources at their fingertips. Parents can also access Learning Theater materials at home to continue the learning process with their children. Everyone will enjoy the ease of using the Skylink Learning Theater!

EOG Instructional Support

The Skylink Learning Theater is constantly updated to provide the latest educational material specifically designed to help the students at your school enhance their performance on the North Carolina End of Grade Tests. For example, the Learning Theater has instructional videos and test questions covering all of the objectives for the upcoming Science EOG Test. The system is also formatted specifically with reading comprehension instructional support. Each component in the program includes model lesson plans aligned with the North Carolina Standard Coarse of Study and test questions linked to the Thinking Strategies of the End of Grade Tests. This unique approach exposes students to the EOG Test Question Format throughout the school year; and invariably boosts EOG Test Results!

All program materials are organized using the North Carolina Thinking Skills Model. Instruction is geared toward the most challenging student population to encourage higher achievement; however, it can be adapted to meet all students’ needs.
