4.04 Describe how different kinds of joints allow movement and compare this to the movement of mechanical devices.
4.05 Observe and describe how muscles cause the body to move.

Glossary
- Ball and Socket Joint- A joint in which a rounded part can move in many directions in a socket as in the hip and shoulder
- Gliding Joint- A joint that moves smoothly one bone over another like the wrist or ankle
- Hinge Joint- A joint that moves like your elbow or knee
- Locomtion- The act or power of moving from place to place
- Protection- The act of covering or shielding from something that would destroy or injure
- Skeleton- A firm supporting or protecting structure or framework of a living being
