Materials: a raw chicken wing, paper towels, rubber gloves
Procedure:
1. Peel off the skin and look at the muscle or meat part.
2. Move the chicken wing so you are opening and closing the wing.
3. What happened to the muscle or meat part? It stretched or bulged.
4. Find where the muscles are attached to the bones (tendons).
5. Pull on the tendon. Does the bone move?
Conclusion:Muscles contract or expand to make the body move.
