Materials: plastic bendable cotton swab, diagram of a skeleton, costruction paper, glue, scissors
Procedure:
1. Glue an uncut plastic cotton swab in the middle of the construction paper. This will be the spine or backbone of the skeleton.
2. Cut a cotton swab in half and glue each of the halves off of the spine facing down.
3. Cut another cotton swab in half. Cut the fuzzy end off both pieces.
4. Glue the cotton swab below the knee and add the fuzzy ends as feet.
5. To make the skeletal ribs put half of a cotton swab on each side of the spine up by where the head will go. For each of the next ribs cut each side a little smaller to make a tapering effect to the ribs.
6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the arms making sure the fuzzy end is the elbow.
7. To make the head, use cut pieces of cotton swab to make an octagon type head.
8. Add a face to your skeleton and label as many bones as you can.
Conclusion: The skeleton is a system of bones that give your body support.
